Below is a list of my polices

Scope of Service

  • Physical exams offered to patients in their homes, workplaces, or designated locations.

  • Services include routine physicals, pre-employment exams, school physicals, sports physicals, and other specified assessments.

  • Advanced practice services may include lab work, diagnostic testing, and referrals as needed.

Scheduling & Appointment Protocol

  • Patients must book appointments at least 24-48 hours in advance, except for urgent requests.

  • Confirmation of appointment details (date, time, location) will be sent to patients via email, text, or phone.

  • A reminder system should be in place to reduce no-shows.

Patient Eligibility

  • All patients must provide a valid ID and relevant medical history before the exam.

  • If any patient is considered high-risk, additional precautions (e.g., physician consultation) may be required before conducting the exam.

Safety & Hygiene Protocols

  • Providers must follow strict hand hygiene protocols, sanitizing hands before and after patient contact.

  • All equipment used must be sterilized or disposable to prevent cross-contamination.

  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) should be worn when appropriate, especially in the context of infection control (e.g., masks, gloves).

  • Clean and sanitize the workspace at the patient's location before and after the exam.

Documentation & Confidentiality

  • Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation for every patient exam, including any recommendations or referrals.

  • All patient records are confidential and should be stored securely in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Provide patients with a copy of their physical exam results upon request.

Billing & Payment

  • Payment options should be communicated in advance (e.g., cash, credit card, insurance billing).

  • Establish clear cancellation and rescheduling policies, including any fees for last-minute cancellations or no-shows.

  • Provide receipts and insurance documentation when necessary.

Emergency Procedures

  • In the event of an adverse reaction or medical emergency during a physical exam, follow emergency protocols, including calling 911 if needed.

  • All providers should be certified in CPR and basic life support (BLS).
